BMW EURO R CARBON FIBER HOODS

The BMW 3 series has become a major force in the tuning world. With the domination of the M3 over three generations of the BMW 3 series, a new generation of Euro tuning products has emerged.

VIS, the most well known of the carbon fiber hoods and accessories manufacturer has recently unveiled a new line of carbon fiber hoods called the Euro R hood. This new line has been created to give euro tuners a sleek and stylish carbon fiber hood that departs from the normal but keeps the car balanced between sporty and classy.

The Euro R hood retains all the features that have put VIS to the top of the carbon fiber hood industry. By this I mean the Euro R hood has the purest carbon fiber weave in the market paired with rolled edges to prevent the hood from fraying. The underbody of the hood is molded with a solid underbody skeleton to give the hood strenght under high speeds.The hood also boasts a glossy urethane clear coat to give the hood a shiny and striking appearance.

Where the Euro R carbon fiber hood differers from the rest is in the styling. The Euro R has two small induction ports on both sides of the hood to bring cool air into the engine bay, great for supercharged applications. The center has a raised v shaped contour that is reminiscent of the stock hood on the new Mazda RX8. The Euro R hood is even more striking in person.

VIS Euro R Carbon Fiber Hoods are availble for BMW, Audi and VW sport compacts. For the BMW, these carbon fiber hoods are availible for the E30, E36 and E46. In laymans terms, the 3 Series 1984 thru 1991, 3 series 1992 thru 1998 and 3 series from 1999 thru 2001.
